Birthday Crispy Rice Treats + Sister Love

My baby sister turned 21 today! Which makes her my not-so-baby-anymore sister I guess. Or in her words, a “grown-ass woman” (barf). Sadly, I cannot celebrate with her because I live on the other side of the world. So instead, I made her favorite snack in her honor: crispy rice treats.

Fact: I am obsessed with the Joy the Baker podcast. I got my boyfriend to buy me her cookbook for my birthday, and used her Browned Butter Peanut Butter Crispy Rice Treats recipe to make these lovely desserts. Now that I’m thinking about it, it’s kinda messed up that I’m taunting her with delicious food she can’t actually eat, but oh well. Happy birthday, lil sis! Hope it’s a great one. We’ll be making these treats together soon :)
